It would seem that puking CCV's are not uncommon with many (most?) HD twins, and not just from overfilling the oil. Although, I am sure that was the culprit in this case (false "low" reading due to wet-sumping).
I know there are several "mods" that address the issue (widening the CCV bore, re-routing external CCV line, catch cans, etc.). Maybe something to look into for added insurance.
