My conversation with an ambulance crew
Me: "Are you on a call?'
A/C: "what?"
ME: "Are... you ... on ... a ... Call?"
A/C: "No"
Me: "Then get the hell out of my firelane and if I see you parking in it again I'll have you ticketed or towed. Just because you're driving an ambulance doesn't mean you get to park it anywhere you want."
I will not tolerate anyone parking in a firelane in my jurisdiction no matter who they are. It eliminates fire/ems/pd being able to get into a or service a building . As well, the biggest violators of parking in the wrong space tend to be the ones who need the walk
