Hey guys
So I picked up this '79SC a few days ago and there are a few little cosmetic things I am itching to rectify. The list is long but a few could be done quite quickly. Backstory: I have no previous experience, so looking to Pelican for any words-of-wisdom.
Intention is (surprise!!) to backdate, loose the wing, impact bumpers, rockers etc. but there is no rush and I'd like to enjoy the journey. That being said I'd like to move back to the chrome window trim and also through some louvred quarter windows into the mix.
So with no experience of ever having tackled this before would it be nuts to think I could go it alone on the window trim replacement and quarter window install?
And while I am here asking, can I switch out the deckled now and tackle the rear bumper later or do I need to know exactly which rear bumper style I am going for before switching out the decklid?
