Reasearch study on chimp behavior who were taught sign language. Two chimps in adjacent cages sharing common bars. Chimp 1 was instructed twice to not eat the banana put on the floor just out of reach of chimp 2. Five minutes later the researcher returned to find the banana eaten with the peal in chimp 1s cage. The researcher signed, Who ate the banana? Chimp 1 signed back with no hesitation Chimp 2.
Sorry, animals not only lie, they can blame others.
A 10 year old tire, never used, can lie about its age if the date code is not seen.
