Definitely look at single-stage paint vs. base+clear...the color on a single-stage job is "at the surface" and shows differently. Only works for non-metallic.

Wraps are getting popular but with all the body work you need (flares, dents, etc.) you would not benefit. Wraps work great on freshly painted, smooth cars but imperfections show through. I'd avoid. An expert may know differently.

I agree that you're not saving much by not painting behind the bumpers. However I don't see a reason to paint them blue either...so probably best to avoid a slippery slope risk on that.

Are you putting this out yet for body shops to quote? If so I have a few here in TX you might consider.
