The roof was an experiment. I bought black construction paper and sprayed it with rattle can "tan stone" for the texture. Then cut into random pieces. Then took my dremel with a small wire brush and went around the edges revealing the black construction paper underneath. It turned out looking like tar on roofing paper and was what I wanted!
