Wow, what a great game if you were rooting for the Caps. And if you're a Bolts fan, I'm sure you're bitter, as none of the pucks seemed to bounce their way. Caps fans know what that feels like from years past. I agree with Flatbutt, though - the Bolts seemed really flat in that 3rd period. No push at all, which is surprising.
On a serious note, this is special for me. My youngest has been a huge Caps fan for years, and it gave us something to bond over and talk about even during those "difficult" times teenagers go through when we otherwise had nothing in common and had a hard time communicating. Now she's 18 and goes away to school later this year. I figured we wouldn't get much chance to do that after this season, so I'm enjoying this with her quite a bit right now
