This 67 Z28 is one of the most significant Camaros in existence. It was the first Camaro to win a National drag race title (Stock Class at the 1967 Nationals). Brothers Ben (driver) and Dave (mechanic) Wenzel bought the car new at a local dealer that is still around. Ben lives a few miles from my old house. It has 25 street miles on it. Everything else was a 1/4-mile at a time. I watched this car race nearly every weekend in the 70s. They have continued to race the car in stock class to the current day - 50 years It generally runs mid-10s. Ben is in his 70s and as fast as ever!!
