David hit on a good point, you have to pay attention to the install height. Most of those lights require a high ceiling to get a good spread of lighting on the floor. Mount them too low and you get one hell of a spotlight. Something to research before you pull the trigger. For a 10-12' ceiling I think it's pretty hard to beat a double 8' strip light with reflector, and they are a LOT cheaper even in LED form.
