I just had the new seal installed yesterday and it looks really good.
The new seal is wider then the previous version and it's a soft rubber material.
My old seal appeared to be original and although it did not leak, it was not fitting well at all. The corners had gaps and the trim was sticking out as well. Although it has no relevance to its functionality it looked ugly due to a previous paint job when they painted over the edges. It was showing its age and it was cracked and disintegrating.

After the glass was removed, it appears that the windshield seal had been replaced before. The body was in good shape underneath all the dirt though.
