But this car is a bit of an anomoly. It was ordered from the factory with several unique touches. Obviously the color-to-sample interior but the buyer also had other special requests that you geniuses haven't even noticed - like the special ordered 74-75 door pockets the factory has confirmed as original.

The car was ordered by a U.S. buyer but delivered in Germany and shipped home. At this point we believe that the tires were either special ordered or fitted at the factory at the customers request when he picked up the car. The matter is still being researched and, if correct, Porsche will be issuing a new COA showing the special ordered tires. If I chose the wrong tire size, the new owner can always switch them out. No big deal.

As for the sugar scoop headlights, I like to be able to see so I upgraded them to H4's. But if little-screaming-boy was paying attention he'd know that the original sugar scoops are included with the car and ready to switch out for concours judging.
If it was special ordered with Pirelli P7s then Porsche would have fitted it with a 930/32 gearbox (otherwise, the speedo would be 5-10 mph off). All other 1976 Turbo Carreras had 930/30 gearboxes with standard profile tires (usually CN36s). Without any documentation, why would you think the car was special ordered with P7s?
