Shot the 225A1 at IDPA yesterday. One great course (15th of 48), two marginal and two awful.
Last course had two 6" steel plates on either side of a no-shoot target. Felt confident going in I'd have no trouble but must've missed them at least 4 times. Must've gotten frustrated as I managed to hit the no-shoot TWICE! Quote of the day was another shooter in my squad (pro looking dude with military buzz cut and team shirt) seeing the two shots on the edge of the no shoot and say 'good lord man w t f were you aiming at?!'.
Times on longer range stages were lousy and I thing it's me taking a while to pick up the front night site. Ordering a red fiber optic front site to replace it as it was recommended by another guy there some time back.
Used all three mags on several stages and didn't realize till today that I had forgotten while capacity for the compact class is 8 rounds you can put +1 in at the start. Duh.
Just the same it was yet again a fantastic time!

Well i had #6 adjusted perfectly but then just before i tightened it a butterfly in Zimbabwe farted and now i have to start all over again!
I believe we all make mistakes but I will not validate your poor choices and/or perversions and subsidize the results your actions.
