Road rash hurts, really hurts, I went down 3 or 4 times while racing bicycles and once when racing motorcycles and once when a drunk driver ran a red light and crushed my left knee. In all the cases the doctor ordered a thorough scrub of the areas so no infections and boy oh boy does it hurt!
