The single Pinto Weber carb that you are talking about is a waste of time. Go with a nice set of 40 Webers or Dells.
You can usually get a used set for around $350 that includes the air cleaners, manifolds, linkage, fuel pump, dizzy (get the Bosch 050) and regulator.
New from CB Performance will cost you a little under $1,000.00. If you are a DIY kind of guy, make sure you get the Weber carb book, get the main and idle jets that are recommended for your mootor and tools to sync the carbs. Also consider getting an Allison/Crane optical ignition, no points is nice....
If you use a mechanic, make sure he is an old fashioned air cooled VW type and knows his stuff.....do not use the 009 dizzy, it sucks.
Hope that helps....
