Update:The first one I installed in in the SC, is still going strong after several years.
I purchased a second one for the 3.6 and mounted it in a stable energies battery bracket that is actually designed for a braille model Battery. it fits perfectly.
This battery replaces the truck size interstate battery and used to be the improved lightweight battery at 21.5 lbs,but is now certainly surpassed by the Li batterie technology that is coming out of the industry.
I have the Deka/East Penn battery store Close by, in eastern PA so with the product quality they have availability ,I will continue to buy from and support them.
PS I did rotate the the the battery in the bracket,180 deg, after taking these pictures to align with the battery post / cable orientation in the 86 Carrera.
