I don't get the money that the 964 gets. I just do not. It's a test bed of things that Porsche needed and had to do for EPA and DOT. They had no money to fix the problems. They had no money to actually hone the car to where it could have been. It's a crapshoot really. As I have said to most people, when I toured the factory in '93 when they were rolling off the line the workers looked completely depressed and sullen. All they had were old refined waterpumpers - a 928, 968, and the aircooled patched up 964.
To each is own, but I would take a late '80s G-body any single day over a 964.
