I was never much of an American car enthusiast, but I had friends with some cool ‘Mercian iron. Bob Heller had a ‘59 or ‘60 Corvette with a 327 with dual quads. When he got on it the sounds from the side pipes and the moan from the carbs went through you like a Wagner opera. Great memories.
