One of my fav JB lines.
They were going to film an incident where JB would be mugged.
The producer said, "OK, I'm a robber and I just stuck a gun in your ribs and said, 'Your money or your life'"
So JB just stood there silent for a bit, crossed arms, with one finger to his chin...Jack Benny style.
The producer said, "Well, c'mon, what would you say?"
JB: "I'm thinking! I'm thinking.!"

Apparently he was quite a generous man in real life.
