1968 912 exhaust question
After 9 years restoring my 912. I got the motor running and idling. Beautiful. My question is. I ripped out the heater boxes that weee all rotted out. So my factory exhaust has open pipes on the back side along with the regular exhaust pipe. It is very loud. Are you supposed to cap the open pipes (heater connection). On the muffler. Please help. I just want to get this running and driving but need a little help in what to do for now.
