This has to be a giant troll.

Anyone with an ounce of motivation or balls or money would have a car by now.

The story about the old lady and the $9k SC is a little too unbelievable. Why would she contact you about selling the car then turn around and sell it for $9k to some random person who saw it in the driveway?

Life is short, we're all going to be dead in a few decades at best, just buy a F'n car. Nobody ever said "I wish I would have waited a year longer to buy a 911 and saved a couple grand" on their deathbed.

I found a car that wasn't marketed too well, fit within the framework of what I was looking for, what I could live with and what I couldn't. Sent an email, talked to the owner(not some middle man), booked a 1 way ticket for the weekend, sent confirmation to the owner, saw the car, drove the car, agreed on a price, drove to the bank, got a cashiers check, signed the title, had a beer with the now previous owner, pointed the car West, about 1000mi and two days later I was home and happy. Days later while looking for a second set of wheels I saw a similar 911 in better condition for about the same money listed 5 min away, such is life.
