Dude, you are supposed to have fun and do it yourself!

There are some funny stories on the technical site about new 911 owners all excited and getting the engine nice and hot, and pulling the oil tank plug with their 5 quart oil pan under it. Of course it is HOT oil and overflows and runs down the driveway, and looks like the Exon Valdez aftermath.

I always lay out newspapers, have my big pan ready, with the little pan ready as well. Open the torrent, and the big pan can't take it fast enough so use the little pan to catch some while the big pan drains down. I always make a mess. But I know it was done right and nothing was over torqued or stripped. It does help a lot having a lift, and an air conditioned garage. As an old geezer I like the comforts.
