I searched and 4200 is max rpm. Haven't driven it with the tach yet, so I have no idea if I've been coming close to that. I hope not as this thing is gutless and slow. I think some of the 70 horses are sand bagging.
Spent yesterday going through the parking and signal light sockets and the blinker mechanism. They've gone from dim, flicker, and off to functioning lights!
And, I washed it and there was a lot of water intrusion into the cabin. Not looking forward to driving this thing in the rain.
And, I pulled the speedo cable and lubed it. Hopefully that will cure the manic needle.
And, I finally figured out how the strap and buckle that secure the spare tire to the hood work. For 10 years this thing has baffled me. It made no sense. I used the pat# on the buckle to pull up the Canadian patent drawing. So now, I need to muscle the gigantic 7.50 x 16 tire and wheel up onto the hood.
