this reminds me of when I bought my sc. This was before the big price hike of the 2012ish onwards. At the time, many p-cars were available. I drove the white sc. It pulled left, but it felt right. Then I drove a much higher priced 3.2 carrera. It was a coral metallic. The steering was heavier, it leaked even more oil than the sc. The salesperson said "This coral metallic is a real showtopper- you'd be a real standout at the porsche club meetings with this color."

With this single well intentioned (but sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo completely off the mark of why I like p-cars) suggestion, I thanked the salesperson for his time, turned around, drove home and bought the white sc on the spot, and haven't quit smiling since.

Call me a p-car collector contrarian (and sports fan contrarian- not that there is anything wrong with sports fandom)- this as my best friend and his wife are happy beyond belief about some recent ice hockey victories!
