It’s amazing what people will do. Good to hear you’re more or less in one piece.
Reminds me of when I was riding by myself late in the day, going full out on my Yamaha 250 in the national forest over some whoop-de-dos (sp?). Went off trail and hit a tee. After bouncing off the tree, I hit the ground hard. It felt like my helmet was on sideways and I was seeing stars. I lay there for several minutes while getting my shyt together.
Luckily, I was wearing all the right gear, but my neck and back were in bad shape. I had to pick my bike up and ride it in 1st gear for miles to get back to the staging area. Loaded everything up, went home and then the ER.
I’m still hurting 18 years later.
Be careful out there!
