First, I am not a doctor. However, I have much experience in the field and with this specific cancer and treatment options. One perspective:

Do you want to worry about it returning for the rest of your life? Radiation causes scarring and if cancer returns in gets ugly to remove and unfortunately much more tissue needs to be removed resulting quality of life loss. Also unfortunately, depending on where you live and who owns the radiation treatment centers etc..., the docs make more money by recommending radiation. They also may be conviced it’s the best treatment, opinions differ. No hate reply’s please. Reimbursment / payment influences care.

My opinion:

If it’s early stage, then nerve sparing dissection (ie deffication, ejaculation and urination maintained) and complete prostate removal (negative margin) are possible with skilled hands assisted by great technology. Look up da Vinci robotic assisted prostatectomy. Watch the videos. Talk with multiple docs. Then, just get it removed - my opinion. Again, I am not a doctor.

Edit: Also, whatever you do, don’t listen to some idiot on a Porsche forum writing like he knows something about prostate cancer.
