Agree with the above. Only suggestion to add is try to find an oncologist who specializes in prostate cancer or who has a lot of expertise in the area. Luckily, we have the Chicago Prostate Cancer Center in the area and this is their only focus.
I went with the seeds 15 months ago, 67 of them and radiation for 5 weeks. Seems to be working as PSA is down and prostate has shrunk drastically. Only issue has been peeing a lot and a period of intense burning when I peed for about 8 weeks. Surgery is still an option if things change but I opted for less invasive treatment first as success is 90%.
Good luck and be positive as this is a very treatable and, typically, a slow growing cancer.
