Sorry to hear Richard. My brother in laws both had prostate cancer. The younger one was diagnosed late and unfortunately passed away after five years of suffering. When he was first diagnosed he let his brother know and that he should get tested. The older brother was tested and was also found to have prostate cancer. The latter decided to have his prostate removed and 5 plus years later he is cancer free.
I am not a med professional. As the above says get more than one opinion. Early treatment is preferable.
