Hey John....FYI: the purple colored plants are not Bromeliads, if those are what you were referring to.
They are
Cordyline australis 'Red Sensation'.

Finally got around to cleaning my outside condenser unit last night. It's 3 years old and this is the first time I did the more complete procedure. Bunch of dirt and filth came out of the fins. I also sprayed the fasteners with my new go-to corrosion proofing product - cold zinc galv spray. This weekend I will clean out the air handler filter.
