Well, the sun still came up this morning so that’s good.

The new co will be an oilfield service company. I have hit a home run so to speak in this area previously with one of my inventions having brought in ~$600M in revenue and currently being used in 1/3 of the wells currently being drilled in North America. As an employee, I got paid a salary and a meager bonus for this. This time, it’s my turn to reap the rewards.

My current (past) employer is very supportive of my decision to give this a try, almost every member of the executive team (including the president / ceo) reached out to me offering their congratulations for landing the opportunity I did.

The VC I am working with is one of the largest in North America. Start ups are their business.

It’s going to be a wild ride for the next few years.
