Dash cover
I'm in the process of putting together an 85 318 for my nephew's first car. The dash is really cracked and faded. I know for porsche's they make an abs plastic overlay that gets glued down over the existing dash, i'm wondering if someone makes one.. If not, does anyone know where I can find one of those carpet covers that you put over the dash (its his first car, I'm not spending big bucks or effort to remove the whole dash.

I have not tried one yet, but Covercraft makes fitted cloth dash covers. Thinking of getting one for the wife's 330. I got a custom fitted sunscreen from them that is very nice.
If you get one from them or from anyone else, please post back how well you like it. |

I've seen these on e21's and the fit and finish is pretty good, I'm unsure how they are on e30's but I don't imagine them being any different.
