I heard the same thumbing sound from behind the driver seat and the sound goes faster when the car goes faster. The tires weren’t flat but I am suspecting a bad tire. My friend who is a mechanic, suspects a bad tire or broken belt. He also suggested that I also check that the lug nuts are tight. But I am not experiencing a sloppy driving though. I guess I should have the rear checked? What do you guys think?
