1986 3-Series AC retro fit?
I want to buy a 3-series car I found online. It's in great shape, but the car was shipped with heat-only. I'm sure it's a crazy idea, but how expensive or even possible would it be to install AC in a 1986 3-series that has never had it? I mean, if it's just adding the parts, and adding 8 hours at a local shop, it might be worth it, but if it's more than $2k, I can wait for a car with AC.
Thanks in advance!

If I were you, I would probably try to find a car with the factory AC already in it. Just my $0.02.

I've been tempted to part with my 1990 325i convertible recently. It's got cold AC working ;-)
Anyone? |
