I'm happy with the Google so far. A couple maneuvers are not as intuitive as the iPhone. Maybe that's my familiarity with the Apple product, maybe the Google is a little clunkier to operate from function to function. But the camera is better. The reception is better. The WiFi is better. Rest of the family is on Apple, so I don't have FaceTime and music to share with them anymore, but those are small issues. I'm happy with the switch, but then again I really hated my iPhone.

You've already switched, so I'm not trying to talk you out of it, but you realize that the 5S was ancient in technology terms, and if you'd had an Android phone that was as old, it would probably have been as bad or worse? A new iPhone would probably have been at least as good as the Pixel 2.
I used to be pretty hard core pro Android. I had the first 2 Google phones and then had another Android after that. I eventually switches and I'm very happy. Apple generally does a great job with the hardware. I think it's usually better than the Android stuff. Back in the day, Android had more software features than Apple. These days, the two are pretty neck-in-neck that way.
