My closest DMV in Newhall is 3-4 hours if you don't have an appointment, sometimes longer.

i have an appointment with the DMV to get my new DL (next week). we have to go in person, if we want the latest/greatest version..the unverified one, we can still do online.
i hope it goes smoothly. i speak "public sector" so i hope that helps.
