I'm trying to change the zoning on my place in Fla.
Started the process over a year ago with the county.
After months of run around they realized that there is no legal easement for the driveway across state forest land.
A number of properties here were landlocked when they realigned the road fronting the properties years ago. So an issue created by the governments decision.

So we started the process of persuing a legal easement seven months ago, and are still waiting for the various state departments to get their act together to process the application and solve this issue that they created.
And the rest of our zoning change can't proceed concurrently, the powers that be can apparently
only do one thing at a time.

A few months ago, friends bought a place a few miles away, also with an easement issue. Only not involving any government entities. They were able to get it resolved and registered in less than two weeks.

We are still waiting.

Is looking like it will take around two years to get to a final decision on our zoning change application.

Cheers Richard
