I love hot rods, but if I ever came into the money to build one, it would probably be more of a kit car, choosing a frame from SoCal Speed Shop, or similar, maybe a Brooklands '33 body, some sort of 'murrican V8 and a tremec 5 speed. A Jag rear end if I was really feeling froggy. A leather interior, simple patterns, but of good quality and nicely detailed.
This fella with the green car thought he might build one of his own, and I admire that.
(But - if this green rod was my creation, I wouldn't try and sell it, I'd just mark it up to experience.)
