Water Pump Tube
When I replaced my coolant hoses awhile back, I noticed that the hard pipe that runs from the water pump to the heater core had some damage on it where a hose connects to it, and I've finally been able to get one. I also suspect that this may be the ultimate source of a slow leak I've been dealing with.
Anyway, with my car being an automatic, there are two oil cooler lines for the transmission running above that pipe; has anyone ever had to remove these before? I'd like to think that I might be able to move things around in such a way that I won't have to disconnect the transmission oil lines, but I figured that I'd ask around to be sure. Also, does anyone know the torque specs for the two bolts holding the tube to the cam tower? I'd imagine it's the same torque spec as the rest of the cam tower bolts, but ya never know.
