At some point I decided to dig into the wires themselves...turned out to be there was a "kink" in one of the wires where it entered the door. It would randomly connect and disconnect which made trouble shooting a total waste of time. You say you did some work on the doors so maybe check that? Good luck.

+1, I have chased the same for several years (not too hard) to no avail. Many of our rides are 30 - 40 - 50 years and older. Wiring can only hold up so long. Ideally our older machines should be completely rewired.
