I was 12.
It was Sunday. Our b/w TV was on a lower bench my parents brought back from Japan. I was lying on a carpet my Dad bought in the Middle East. I had one of those old pillows with the arms they used to sell as a bed rest for support.
I was transfixed. The landing happened around noon PST (I should look this up) and the walk many hours later.
After the landing, I remember going out to work and feed the horses and my Mom coming out to get me for the moon walk.
