About this time I was working for the gov't in an Avionics overhaul facility. Spent 2 days in a NASA soldering class.
Learned the proper way to solder, as it was so important for weight reduction in the industry.
They told us how much weight could be reduced by proper soldering...I don't recall the stats, but it was a staggering amount.
