First posting. Thanks already for the support I've received just by reading here!

My 1984 911 driver side inner door lock mechanism stopped working this week. Manual system. I can lock and unlock the door with the key fine. Doesn't want to move at all when the knob is twisted. After removing the panel I tried some lube, ran electric window up and down, nada. Before I go rampaging into taking things out and buying stuff does anyone out there have any advice?
