I would only ever overpay for extremely nice condition or really good options. Sport seats, sport exhaust, Aerokit, Sport Chrono, various wheel packages, extended leather, carbon fiber, those are things that you'll be hard pressed to duplicate. If it's just a normal 4S, I would keep looking. They aren't rare cars.
Also remember that most of the great deals aren't on pristine cars. I've found some smoking deals over the years, but most of them required me to invest a little time/money in making the car meet my standards. The less time I have, the more value I put into buying a car that's already nice.
Oh yeah, and sell that car outright. If it's that nice you'll find an enthusiast buyer, because it sounds well optioned. Don't let a dealer screw you over.
