I respond to posts in lots of old threads. Particularly in the tech section...As many currently posted on there now are actually incorrect. I see no problem responding to any thread without carbon dating it. If it was prePARF, enough folks will cry a river until it is moved. Funny that the behavior of the folks here who complain about PARF/PARFers is as bad or worse than in PARF. Most are just folks who have attempted to debate in PARF and found their arguments weak/lacking...So they are "winning" by whining. The moderator did exactly as he should and the system worked as it should and has many times before (despite the fact that some acted like whiney, potty-mouthed children). It briefly sat on the front page in OT until a mod noticed and moved it. It was in already in OT (for 14 years) before I responded to it. I did not move it or put it there. My response just moved it to the front page. Anyone (except those looking for an excuse to be offended) could have simply avoided opening or posting on the thread knowing it would be moved in an hour or two.
