Monoballs wear out. It's metal to metal and the smallest, almost non-detectable gap will squeak or bang. The rubber in the stock bits is there to avoid this problem. 3 years on monoballs isn't bad. they can be rebuilt by the way.
Also check sway bar bushings just incase.
