It's the new normal...used to be, outside your area code was the "clue"... now we don't even have that
. Damn glad I'm not in rhe position where I need to answer calls I don't recognize...I just don't. It's the proverbial snowball methinks...but I only get a fraction from say a decade ago (including election years)....my snowball has virtually melted
. My mom...just HAS to answer, and will break her neck to pick up before the third ring....old habits. Where did the "practice" of answering after the second ring originate? Mom won't answer after the first ring....and will wait with her hand on it...always struck me as funny.
