No!
I can't imagine being up to code with two units on a circuit that cannot run both at once. God forbid you accidentally run both, the results could be disasterous. Also, as someone else has said, your homeowners insurance will use that as a reason to deny a claim and even if the problem was unrelated it will raise red flags and you will be dropped.
