Red bar front sight and 19lb mainspring added. Wow.
This particular model comes with a 24lb spring (red paint on it indicates this) which is apparently a bit stiff. 30 second swap to a $3.99 19lb spring and the double action pull on this gun is sweet enough that anyone with a half proper grip will have no problem at all keeping the da shot in the zero zone.
I can slow fire my 226 better but this 225A1 is just magic feeling in the hands. Also finding I prefer 147gr ammo for quicker times. De state shoot is this coming weekend. Hoping weather is ok. My goal is to finish better than 1/3 of my class. with 12 stages its gonna be a real test of ones ability to stay focused for an entire day.
