It's really a parf subject but the vast majority of divorces in this country end up with the female claiming the house, the children, and decades of child support understandable, or simply alimony so she can free-load and mooch and have everything given to her without the original male even needing to be present anymore.
In so many cases the woman has 100& over the children and uses that as bait-n-switch or just a means of control over the male. Lucy with the football laughing as he falls again. So often she uses the power of ultimatum to turn the children against the father to reject and deny him from having a seat at the community family table. Her need for total control fractures the family unit and if the male does not remain the breadwinner in absenteeism then the state takes over the roll.
You all are so quick to judge Jobs, and it's likely you are correct, but perhaps there is so much more to the mother's personality or the father's history contributing to the mitigating factors.
