Having just seen your comments about wanting to have a sailing adventure.

I'd recomend that you look around PortTownsend for some sailing opportunities.
It is well established as a traditional wooden boat center. There are probably some good sailing charters from there.

I once sailed from there after the wooden boat festival thru Deseption pass into the puget sound, quite the ride.

Could go across the straights into the Gulf Islands, a very nice cruising area.
