Anyone have any clue what this is? I'm guessing its a tool for something. It was in my FIL's collection.
Appears to be a 1/2" square forged steel "S" that's about 8-10" long.
Curiously it's ground with a rounded edge on one end and a complementary ground scalloped edge on the other end.
I tried Google and came up empty. Stumped...
